Neuromuscular Massage

Performed using the pads of the thumbs, a certain amount of pressure is required. Several movements are used, but the most common is the use of smaller circular movements.
Massaging the area immediately on either side of the spine, one can give a massage that is both stimulating and relaxing.
The area lies between the spine and the ridge of muscle laying an inch or so to the side of it. This gutter is very conveniently just wide enough for the thumb. Using small circular movement up the spine or downward.
